Description:
Ndali is a family-run lodge with eight cottages, all of them with en-suite bathrooms and a private veranda looking out at the Mountains of the Moon. Built by Captain Mark Price in the 1990s it is now run by son, Aubrey, and Aubrey's wife Clare. The main lodge is perched on the rim of an extinct volcano which has filled with water to create Lake Nyinambuga.How to get there:
Ndali is about 40 minutes from the town of Fort-Portal and an hour from Kasese - southwestern Uganda. From Fort Portal turn left down the road just over the bridge past the maket and go 26km following the signs.
From Kasese go towards Fort Portal and just past a centre called Rwimi, 11km pst Hima, there is a right turn with a sign to Ndali. Follow the signs.

There are 8 cottages and the rates are as follows:

- single cottage US$360
- 3rd bed US$165
- children 12 & under US$85
Restaurant:
Generally dining is communal with all dietary requirements catered for given advanced notice.
Things to do:
Ndali is 45 minutes drive from Kibale forest where one can trek chimpanzees. There are also numerous lovely walks around Ndali estate where one can see many birds, some monkeys and there is a vanilla plantation and processing plant that can be toured with some coffee and Cocoa also grown on the estate.
