The name Kabira originates from luganda word Mabira meaning forest, this symbolizes the natural vegetation grown in the hotel, a big support for the world’s campaign against Global warming.

The hotel’s 95 rooms, suites and cottages overlook either the hills of Kampala or the Club's swimming pool. All of the guest rooms are furnished in a quietly elegant contemporary English style with attention to detail, showcasing all that is finest in modern and traditional craftsmanship in Uganda.

Kabira Country Club has a number of meeting rooms suitable for conferences, seminars and business meetings. We can offer a wide range of business services and facilities including Internet connection, copying services, etc, backed up by professional sound and lighting engineers, if required.

Conference room facilities include PA System with 5 Microphones, LCD Projector for power point presentation as well as CD/DVD/VHS. Complimentary flipchart stand, markers, writing pads and pens are provided.

Kabira Country Club is also ideal for your wedding reception or private party. We can offer a garden venue for parties and wedding receptions of up to 2000 people or our poolside location for cocktail parties which can accommodate up to 800 people.
