Several Buses ply various routes of Uganda and also connect Kampala to major cities of neighbouring countries listed below; Burundi, DR Congo, Sudan (Southern), Kenya, Rwanda & Tanzania. Please note, bus schedules are not reliable - the same to fares.  For instance, towards the end of year and during festive seasons i.e. Christmas and Easter celebration, bus fares & schedules change regularly.  It’s advisable to enquire from the relevant bus company before you travel.

 

The Baganda bus park situated next to the Kampala New taxi park and the Arua bus park at Ben Kiwanuka Street were the traditional bus stations in Uganda and for many years these stations served as a base for many bus companies. However, due to the increase in number of bus companies and travelers, some new and old bus companies resorted to owning private parking stations. It’s therefore important to enquire from the bus operators about the address (s)
